Why has my bank transfer failed?

Modified on Wed, 7 May at 4:08 PM

A bank transfer could fail for a number of reasons. Some of the most common reasons include:

  • Incorrect recipient details, including IBAN
  • Rejection from recipient bank's end
  • Closed account (recipient)

If a bank transfer you initiate is rejected you will see this reflected in the Moneybase app.

If the recipient bank has rejected the transfer, you will need to contact them directly to understand the cause and resolve the issue.
