What is a cross-border payment?

Modified on Wed, 7 May at 4:08 PM

A Cross-border payment is a type of payment where the payer and the recipient are based in different countries.

SEPA transfers allow you to transfer money between two bank accounts within the Single European Payment Area (SEPA) in the Euro currency. Payments outside of Europe are known as non-SEPA international payments.

Cross-border payments can be effected on both personal and business accounts.
